With our customer account, you can access a management environment where you can set up, enter, and modify data yourself.

  • To properly process your order, we use your name and address details.
  • Payment Processing. To properly process the payment of your order, we use your payment details.

Communication

To facilitate communication regarding your order and/or other questions, we use your personal data/contact details.

Legal Obligation Compliance

To comply with our legal obligations, we store your order history including payment details within the statutory period.

Marketing (with Consent)

To provide you with personalized offers, we use your personal data/contact details. This data is only used when you have given consent for this purpose.

Fraud Prevention

For fraud prevention purposes, where there is a legitimate interest, we use your IP address, address details, and payment information.

We offer the possibility to ask questions through various channels in our webshop. You choose which information you provide. The data you send us is kept as long as necessary for the complete answer and handling of your question. We offer a newsletter through which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. We also send (commercial) newsletters to existing customers regarding similar products or services. Each newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe.

Publication

We do not publish your customer data.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We may pass your data to our partners. These partners are involved in the execution of the agreement and may under no circumstances use data for purposes other than those we specify. The secure processing of your data is guaranteed through a processor agreement between W.I.C. BV HANDELSONDERNEMING BV and the partner. Social media buttons are included in our webshop. These buttons only provide a link and do not transfer personal data to third parties. When logging in via a social media account, the social media party provides the email address associated with the user account.

Cookies

When you first visit our webshop, a message is displayed explaining why we use cookies (the cookie banner). Subsequent use of our webshop is interpreted as consent for the use of cookies. You are free to disable cookies through your internet browser. Please note that it is possible our website may not function optimally as a result.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google to make arrangements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained information for other Google services. Finally, we anonymize IP addresses.

We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.

Retention Periods

The personal data described above is kept for as long as necessary to process your order(s), including warranty, unless there is a legal obligation requiring longer retention (such as fiscal retention obligation).

We are happy to help if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority against these processing activities of personal data.
